Busy Week

Last week just got kind of busy..Wednesday I took my mother-in-law to Marshalls, Ross then Target. Thursday it was her birthday so we had breakfast at Denny's then we headed to Nordstrom. Later that day my boyfriend took her to Kamameshi. Friday I can't remember what we did. Saturday was her surprise birthday party..She thought we (boyfriend and I) got her a bag. Everyone at the party thought it was real, even the people that work there.

I just loved it so much..I'm definitely getting my cakes from Anya. She makes the amazing cakes and it also taste so good. I just emailed her a picture of how I want it to look and she did it.

Happy Birthday

Made this birthday card all night, didn't even sleep until maybe around 1am. I got it from a magazine I bought called Complete Cardmaking Issue 21. I just love that magazine. It just had the cutest cards in there. It also can with a free CD with all the images, paper, embellishments, etc they used. I decided to cut the whole entire picture individual. From the dog all the way to the letters. The letters took the longest. After everything was cut I took a Kraft card stock and glued it. I used a 3D dimensional on this one.

It was kind of funny seeing my 3 year old trying to help me out. He kept taking card stock from the table and putting it on the machine. I guess when he first saw me trying out my Sizzix Bigshot he wanted to do the same. I bought the Spellbinder Scallop Circles, so I wanted to give it go and see how it looks.

I just love making note cards..I think I should start making regular size cards..I should of a scallop border around the circle to make the owl pop more :)

Score!!!

OMG!! Finally got a Martha Stewart Score Board. I've been going to my local Michael's almost every other day (or so) just to check if they have any in stock. I went there today to look for the Martha Stewart Edger Punch - Scallop..for a project I was about to do but instead I found the board. Snagged it and paid..LOL I didn't even look around to see what else was new, like I always do when there. I used my 40% off coupon on this so I saved about $9 which is pretty good. Didn't want to buy online because shipping especially eBay which was is almost the same price as the item. Others even over priced the board.

I've also bought the circle cutter by Martha Stewart..I wonder if it's good. I wanted the Stampin' Up Circle Scissors Plus but I couldn't wait. If it's doesn't cut good circles I'm returning it and just get the circle scissors hahaha

Simple Plain Card

Today I just made a simple card. Still trying to get the hang of stamping / cardmaking :) Still new to everything. Earlier (before this card) I had one of the Christmas sentiment upside down.

Side-by-Side Comparison

I was bored so I started organizing some of my supplies. I forgot that I received my stamp set from Unity so I started taking it apart. I saw how thick their red rubber so I pulled out my one of Stampin' Up! stamp and compared the two. Unity's stamp is much thicker than Stampin' Up.


Sorry if it doesn't look clear I took this on my iPhone. You should see my digital camera was even worst. I need a new camera LOL..The one of the left is Stampin' Up and the one on the right is Unity Stamp. Don't get me wrong..I love both companies..I was just bored I had to do that LOL

Room Locked

I'm am extremely bored..I was about to make a card. I just found out my 3 year old son just locked the room where all my scrapbooking/cardmaking supplies were in. I do not have the keys to that room. I warned my boyfriend about it cause I knew one of these days our son will lock the room. He loves closing and/or locking doors. Everytime our son locks the room, I would always be in there. So this time I wasn't, and look it happened to be the day I wanted to make a card :( this sucks I don't know what else to do. LOL I was thinking about making digital cards but I forgot it's also in that room.

Oh well I'll just fix my other blog for the time being.
